Enrichment Programs

Chapel

Children attend chapel once a week to learn of God's love and mercy; instilling upon them values to encourage their role in our community. Chapel offers an understanding of Episcopalian Christian values through story-telling, dramatic play, and singing. We welcome and encourage participation in our weekly church services, but membership in St. Mark’s church is not a requirement for admission.

Sportball, is a professional sports program at St. Mark's Episcopal Day School designed to nurture students' skills and confidence in various sports. Their passionate coaches create engaging and age-appropriate activities to instill a love for sports and valuable life skills. Each week, students explore and learn a new sport, progressively improving their abilities and knowledge. The curriculum focuses on skill development, teamwork, and having fun.

Music

Our music program, led by the talented and dedicated Ms. Sybi, plays a crucial role in enhancing students' learning abilities and fostering cognitive development. Through her engaging lessons, students not only develop a deep appreciation for music but also effectively exercise essential cognitive functions including planning, working memory, inhibition, and flexibility. These cognitive functions, collectively known as executive functions, are honed and strengthened through their musical journey under Ms. Sybi's guidance.
